Prioritize safety, authenticity, and understanding this week, as our springtime fires ignite just as communication glitches occur when willful Mars enters Aries and communicative Mercury retrogrades. Conflict can get us going, but it’s not a creative place. Let’s move out of reaction and into creation and look for ways that honor all paths. Our lives are shifting now. If something is wrong, we won’t put up with it anymore. Soon we begin to see the direction change is taking us.

Today let’s repair and follow through on the loose ends. Mercury has just retrograded and asks us to spend the next few weeks reviewing, healing, and planning the future. During that time, accidents increase and misunderstandings proliferate under pressure, so let’s pace ourselves and move with consciousness.

The energy is brash and revolutionary this weekend; do not tell people what to do. Sudden events demand attention as the moon and Mars join the sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Uranus in Aries. We may need to take decisive action to repair the past.

Early next week, follow through on work in progress; do not drop the ball. Later on in the week, we have an opportunity to talk about old problems with a fresh perspective and break into new patterns.

Neptune enters Pisces this week — a subtle change that makes water quality and availability a major ecological challenge of the next decade, along with the new search for healthy power as Uranus squares Pluto through 2015. Neptune in Pisces softens our aesthetics and, over the decade, increases the hunger for mysticism and transcendence.

Friday, April 1: We all can feel like April fools bumbling over snags or unfinished business, being vulnerable and disorganized, but still sense big things about to happen. It may be hard to stay on task, but some important work needs punctuation now. Unwind tonight.

Saturday, April 2: Anything can happen. We could make a break for freedom, whatever that means for us. Fuel abounds; fire catches quickly. Let’s check all information before exploding our energy as Mars and the moon enter Aries. The mood is wild tonight.

Sunday, April 3: This is a turning point under an Aries new moon, though it may take a month to see the effect. We get hints about what we truly do and do not want but must wise up to take appropriate action. We need restraint, not suppression.

Monday, April 4: The mood is sparky if disorganized. If we take a step toward our goal, our soul’s restlessness calms down. Evening grows determined and connected as the moon enters Taurus. We want to believe but have our doubts.

Tuesday, April 5: We need to deal with consequences of recent actions or inaction. The energy is willful, determined, fierce, and enthusiastic if easily frustrated.

Wednesday, April 6: Sharp edges and accidents are likely early on; stay safe. Midday, the cork comes out of the bottle as the sun conjuncts Jupiter — everything takes on a larger-than-life quality, even our laziness. Talk up work; share ever-so bountiful opinions.

Thursday, April 7: The winds and moods change direction every few minutes. Confirm all data as the Gemini moon squares Neptune. Don’t test one another this afternoon. Keep talking and heal the past.
