Tucked away inside the Inn on the Alameda, the Agoyo Lounge is easy to miss. But it’s worth seek­ing out. This place is on the up­swing, and it could use an in­crease in lo­cal pa­tron­age. Work­ing out of a small kitchen, chef Jen Doughty has put to­gether a cre­ative menu whose main strengths are ap­pe­tiz­ers and sal­ads. Some of the en­trees fall short, and the menu could ben­e­fit from a more ex­ten­sive list of desserts. Rec­om­mended: em­panadas (choice of three fill­ings), sweet-onion puff pas­try with smoked sal­mon, duck con­fit & spinach salad, and the Al­sa­tian tart of the day.
