Mar­ion Cen­ter for Pho­to­graphic Arts, Santa Fe Uni­ver­sity of Art and De­sign, 1600 St. Michael’s Dr., 505-473-6341 The Mar­ion Cen­ter’s ex­hibit To Hear Through the Eyes fea­tures works by renowned still-life and land­scape pho­tog­ra­pher Paul Capon­i­gro. His black-and-white pho­to­graphs dramatically cap­ture nat­u­ral ob­jects, stand­ing stones, and other land­scape el­e­ments. The show, which opens with a 5 p.m. re­cep­tion on Fri­day, Feb. 20, is a se­lec­tion of gelatin sil­ver prints from the Santa Fe Uni­ver­sity of Art and De­sign’s per­ma­nent col­lec­tion. Images from Capon­i­gro’s se­ries Stone­henge Port­fo­lio and Port­fo­lio One are in­cluded.
