A vi­brant ex­am­ple of the craft-beer boom that has changed New Mex­ico dining for the bet­ter in re­cent years, the Blue Corn Café Down­town is a more de­pend­able place to drink than to eat. Some of its of­fer­ings, es­pe­cially its bar-food ap­pe­tiz­ers and ham­burg­ers, are strong. Some are not, and this in­con­sis­tency makes it a bit of a gam­ble if you’re look­ing for a full-on meal. Rec­om­mended: Toro Blanco white dou­ble IPA, End of the Trail brown ale, BBQ baby­back ribs, and green chile stew.
