Putting it all together: Tesoro
As a bab Efisio Giordanelli sang before he spoke, his family in Venezuela says. Now rown up, he’s the frontman for the Arizona-based band Tesoro, which plays the e Sol Stage & Grill (37 Fire Place, 505-474-7322) at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 6. The group was started by guitarists and Tucson natives Justin Fernandez and Brian Scott. The band’s other members are Andrew McClarron, on bass and cajón, and Gabriel “the Caveman” Kaiser, on drums. Over the years, the group’s music has evolved from “flamenco fusion” to “Latin/ rock fusion.” Tickets for the twenty-one-andover concert are $10 from www. holdmyticket.com.
