To get a quick taste of Man­hat­tan, Santa Feans can head to the New York Deli South­side , which of­fers a com­bi­na­tion of deli stan­dards — bagels, blintzes, Nova salmon, and matzo ball soup — along with break­fast and lunch of­fer­ings, like omelets and sub sand­wiches, that are more typ­i­cal ofa Se­in­feld -style New York cof­fee shop. There are highs and lows at this place, and some of the break­fast items were sur­pris­ingly soggy and bland. Rec­om­mended: egg cream, bagel with salmon and cream cheese, and Reuben sand­wich.
