The green world is resurrected, and our souls are revived after a long winter. The first full moon after the spring equinox heralds Easter and renewal of all types.

As the weekend begins, the mood can be energized, sociable with a lazy streak, or friendly but resistant to being coerced or pushed into anything we don’t want to do under a waxing Libra moon. Our attitude sharpens with a lunar eclipse on Saturday and a Scorpio moon on Sunday.

This eclipse shines a light on the balance between the needs of the individual and the necessary compromises we must make for love or to be part of a community. The Libra full moon highlights our longing for connection. Our collaborations may feel tested, but this gives us an excuse to work on that balance and make it sing.

After a sociable but ambiguous Saturday, Sunday calls for dynamic solitude under a willful and gloomy Scorpio moon. It won’t be productive to argue, but it will be a good time to sit alone and contemplate personal responsibility.

In response to the questions and conversations this weekend, we may be ready to make some healthy changes early next week as the sun conjuncts Uranus. Our luck may improve. We want to feel free, but may be tempted by a short-term solution and gallivant off into the sunset. What we really need is a deep conversation about where we’ve been and where we’re going.

Friday, April 3: We may crave freedom as the sun trines Jupiter, though unfinished work is pressing, and a few low-level emergencies keep us on task. Relax in moments of spontaneous camaraderie; talk about future possibilities and dance under the full moon tonight. Saturday, April 4: The morning begins with a lunar eclipse at 6:05. A feeling of inadequacy can roil our emotions, and relationships move to the front burner. Use that restlessness to stay out of trouble. Work around transportation oddities midday. Tonight brings interesting conversations and proclamations about where we’re going from here. Sunday, April 5: Storm clouds gather as the sun squares Pluto and the moon enters brooding Scorpio. Some haunting story or fear can whisper to us. We need to face our own issues and not project them onto other people. Monday, April 6: Don’t bother with details this morning as the sun conjuncts Uranus. Expect the unexpected, and look for the big picture. Sudden decisions may be in our favor, but let’s take at least one deep breath before saying yes as Mercury trines Jupiter this morning. We may suddenly feel free to pursue our goals, but that freedom may not look like we thought it would. Tuesday, April 7: It’s easy to hurt one another’s feelings this morning as the moon opposes Venus, and then get depressed about it this afternoon as Mercury squares Pluto, deciding to move to Timbuktu tonight as the moon enters restless Sagittarius. Consider staying away from volatile relationships and work wisely with this struggle, which leads to freedom. Wednesday, April 8: Look for shocking news or fresh revelations as Mercury conjuncts Uranus. The mood is ingenious, impulsive, and quick. Think carefully through sudden decisions — use this energy to finally let go of an old problem and step into the future. Consider buying new electrical equipment and be open to fresh ideas. Thursday, April 9: We think fast on our feet and need room to move as the moon trines Uranus, Mercury, and the sun. We may say just what we’re thinking — and we may say too much — but the truth can break open a logjam.
