Live from New Mexico, it’s John Mulaney

Pasatiempo - - RANDOM ACTS -

Best known for his television work, comedian John Mulaney can be laughed at onstage, rather than onscreen, when he performs in Santa Fe on Thursday, April 23. He left his post as a writer (and occasional actor) for Saturday Night Live last year in order to develop his own sitcom about his experiences as a struggling stand-up comic. Called Mulaney, the show was relatively short-lived — the last episode aired this February. Now Mulaney is out of the studio and on the streets, crisscrossing the nation on a tour that brings him to the Lensic Performing Arts Center (211 W. San Francisco St.). His set begins at 7 p.m., and tickets, $29.50, are available at www.tick or by calling 505-988-1234.
