A dream world in peril that can be saved only by cu­rios­ity and imag­i­na­tion is the sub­ject of the in­au­gu­ral project of CircAspire, Wise Fool New Mex­ico’s new pre­pro­fes­sional pro­gram for stu­dents who are ready to move on from chil­dren’s and cabaret-style shows to fully re­al­ized cir­cus pro­duc­tions. Dreams comes to the James A. Lit­tle Theater (1060 Cer­ril­los Road) at 7 p.m. on Fri­day, May 1, and at 2 and 7 p.m. on Satur­day, May 2. The cast fea­tures as­pir­ing cir­cus artists age seven to sixty-seven. The mu­sic in­cludes recorded com­po­si­tions as well as in­stru­ments played live by per­form­ers as they bal­ance on trapezes and aerial hoops.
