An acous­tic evening of “cin­e­matic jazz pop cock­tail mu­sic” is promised by Busy McCar­roll and Kirk Kadish for Fri­day, May 29, at the Starlight Lounge. Kadish plays pi­ano, ac­cor­dion, and gui­tar and sings with McCar­roll, Santa Fe’s al­ter­na­tive/ hip­ster pop-scene queen, who ear­lier this spring won The Santa Fe New Mex­i­can’s “O Fair New Mex­ico” song con­test — lis­ten to her plummy ver­sion at www.re­verb­na­tion.com/busym­c­car­roll or watch the video (with Lori Ot­tino, har­mony and melod­ica) on YouTube.
