THE FIRST LEAF TURNS, Mercury enters industrious Virgo, and we feel an ephemeral quality creep into our season. Let’s savor the freedom and bounty of high summer while it is still with us as Mercury conjuncts Jupiter in extroverted Leo on Friday, and Mars enters Leo over the weekend.
Venus cuddles up to Jupiter and keeps the mood romantic, expansive, and sociable with hidden undertones of stubbornness and a tendency to be self-involved. But with this lineup in fire sign Leo, fire can be both unusually attractive and unusually dangerous. Our hearts and forests are flammable. THURSDAY, AUG. 13: A change of scene or script is called for as the sun trines innovative Uranus. We’re unusually open to progressive ideas and ready for an easy adventure. Large ambitions may be temporarily blocked, so make the most of the moment.
