In­trigue Gallery, 238 Del­gado St., 505-820-9265 In­trigue gallery presents an ex­hibit of new ac­qui­si­tions from Robert Fiedler’s African art col­lec­tion. Fei­dler, who co-owns the gallery with his wife, pain­ter Pamela Frankel Fiedler, be­gan col­lect­ing in 1975. “For Robert, African art com­bines el­e­ments of power, spir­i­tu­al­ity, and aes­thetic beauty,” says In­trigue’s web­site. His col­lec­tion in­cludes early- to mid-20th-cen­tury tribal arts from Cameroon, Congo, Nige­ria, and more. The re­cep­tion is on Fri­day, Aug. 7, at 5 p.m. In­trigue also has a booth at the an­nual Ob­jects of Art Santa Fe fair, which takes place at El Museo Cul­tural de Santa Fe (555 Camino de la Fa­milia) from Thurs­day, Aug. 13, to Satur­day, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with an open­ing-night gala on Wed­nes­day, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. Tick­ets are avail­able at www.ob­ject­so­fart­santafe.com.
