Intrigue Gallery, 238 Delgado St., 505-820-9265 Intrigue gallery presents an exhibit of new acquisitions from Robert Fiedler’s African art collection. Feidler, who co-owns the gallery with his wife, painter Pamela Frankel Fiedler, began collecting in 1975. “For Robert, African art combines elements of power, spirituality, and aesthetic beauty,” says Intrigue’s website. His collection includes early- to mid-20th-century tribal arts from Cameroon, Congo, Nigeria, and more. The reception is on Friday, Aug. 7, at 5 p.m. Intrigue also has a booth at the annual Objects of Art Santa Fe fair, which takes place at El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe (555 Camino de la Familia) from Thursday, Aug. 13, to Saturday, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with an opening-night gala on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at www.objectsofartsantafe.com.
