There is one more chance to catch Aspen Santa Fe Bal­let this sum­mer, at a one-night en­gage­ment at 8 p.m. on Fri­day, Sept. 4, at the Len­sic Per­form­ing Arts Cen­ter (211 W. San Fran­cisco St.). A new piece by Ale­jan­dro Cer­rudo, Silent Ghost, fea­tures in­die mu­sic, love duets, and a pow­er­ful sec­tion for men. Cer­rudo’s piece was made pos­si­ble by a grant for tour­ing com­pa­nies from the New Eng­land Foun­da­tion for the Arts. ASFB re­cently an­nounced a cou­ple of other hon­ors that have been be­stowed on the com­pany — an un­re­stricted grant from the Shu­bert Foun­da­tion and the Santa Fe Mayor’s Award for Ex­cel­lence in the Arts, which will be pre­sented at a cer­e­mony in Oc­to­ber.
