The Short Order

Pasatiempo - - RESTAURANT REVIEW -

Housed in a converted Catholic chapel that dates to the 1800s, The Love Apple prides itself on using fresh, regional ingredients that, when possible, have a direct connection to the foodways of Northern New Mexico. The interior is romantic and homey, and the salads, appetizers, and entrees are consistently good, emerging from a sweet spot where high-quality ingredients put in talented hands makes for memorable food. Recommended: caramelized onion and apple quesadilla, yellow and blue cornbread, charcuterie plate, lamb albondigas, local green salad with seasonal fruit and goat cheese, and peach crumble.
