Courtney M. Leonard: Artifice 2015, hand-built ceramic using micaceous clay

Leonard, and Marina Eskeets team up with artists David Sloan and Shane Nichols for coLAB3: Manifest, the third in a series of exhibits based on artistic collaboration. The show, made up of small ceramic works, opens Friday, Sept. 18 with a 5 p.m. reception. Visitors can also view Axle Contemporary’s current exhibit Slices of Wonder, as Axle’s mobile gallery is parked in front of Studio Central during the reception. Buffalo Hyde also gives painting demonstrations at the Railyard from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, as part of the AHA Festival of Progressive Arts.
