Santa Fe Public Library, 145 Washington Ave., 505-955-6780 Local painter Mary Thomas’ Literary Legends, an exhibit of portraits of famous writers including Ernest Hemingway, Maya Angelou, and F. Scott Fitzgerald, is on view through October inside the Tybie Davis Satin Gallery of the main library. “I am working with black and white photos which I find on the internet,” she writes on her website. “The Hemingway portrait was particularly interesting to me, as it is from his 1923 passport photo.” Guests can meet with Thomas, who is present in the gallery from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4.
