Owned and operated by the pit masters who created the now-defunct Josh’s BBQ, the Ranch House specializes in smokehouse favorites like baby back ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and sausage. There’s a consistency problem with the meats, though. The pork ribs were nearly perfect on one occasion and unacceptably dry on another. Entrees come with a variety of picnic-style side dishes that are reliably good. Recommended: smoked green chile queso, sweet potato fries, potato salad, and chocolate peanut butter mousse.
