Museum of International Folk Art, 706 Camino Lejo, 505-474-1200 The museum’s latest exhibition Flamenco: From Spain to New Mexico traces the spread of the dance form from its origins in Spanish Gypsy folk dance in the 15th century to the modern day. Included in the show are flamenco costumes and dress, playbills, musical instruments, paintings, and more. Art-making activities for all ages take place on Sunday, Dec. 13, starting at 1 p.m. A performance of Un Cuento Navidad Flamenco/A Flamenco Nativity Story follows at 3 p.m. Entrance to these events is by museum admission. The exhibit runs through Sept. 11, 2016.
