Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, 710 Camino Lejo, 505-476-1269 The Buchsbaum Gallery of Southwestern Pottery, named for art collectors Jane and Bill Buchsbaum, includes nearly 300 historic and contemporary works in ceramic by New Mexico and Arizona Pueblo potters. The selection, on permanent display, is culled from the museum’s extensive holdings of more than 6,000 ceramic works. It is broad in its scope, with pottery dating back to the 5th century. The exhibition shows the development of unique styles at different pueblos and includes a changing exhibit area called Traditions Today that looks at the pottery being made now.
