At Red Sage, a high- end restau­rant in the mas­sive Buf­falo Thun­der Re­sort & Casino, you’ll find a menu heavy on steaks, seafood, sal­ads, and small plates. The chefs seem to do bet­ter with beef than fish, and some of the small plates — which usu­ally come in gen­er­ous por­tions — are ex­cel­lent. You’re most likely to no­tice smok­ing is al­lowed in the casino, and the air-fresh­ener-masked smell of it is no­tice­able in­side the restau­rant, so if smoke and food sim­ply don’t mix for you, you might want to pass. Rec­om­mended: pork belly, beets and cheese salad, ten­der­loin of beef, and flour­less choco­late torte.
