The show includes handmade dolls from Jacqueline Hill’s Black Girl Dolls series inspired by the historic slave dolls in the Museum of International Folk Art’s Alexander Girard Collection; photographs of Santa Fe by John Hufnagle; photographer Melanie McWhorter’s images of Santa Fe’s Dale Bellamah- designed neighborhoods; Austrian-born artist Mara Saxer’s mixed-media works that combine recycled computer parts and traditional art materials; and Pete Warzel’s religious landscapes of New Mexico. The exhibit opens Friday, March 4, with a reception at 5 p.m.
