Laughing all the way to the convention: Stephanie Miller

Pasatiempo - - RANDOM ACTS - — Jennifer Levin

As they say, it’s always darkest before the dawn, but — politically speaking — dawn is still at least as far away as July, when the Republican Party convenes in Cleveland to officially pick its presidential nominee. During this long midnight of collective fear, we can stew or we can find humor in a situation over which the vast majority of us have no control. Popular progressive talk-radio host Stephanie Miller would rather laugh through the pain, so she’s taking her Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour back on the road to lighten the national mood. She stops at the Lensic Performing Arts Center (211 W. San Francisco St.) on Saturday, March 26, to entertain Santa Feans at 8 p.m., joined by TV and radio personality John Fugelsang and comedy duo Frangela, all of whom are frequent guests on Miller’s radio show. Tickets are $25-$50; VIP tickets, which include prime seating and a meet- and- greet with Miller and her guests, are $150. For t ickets, call 505- 988-1234 or visit www.tick
