Maxwell Museum of Anthropology, 1 University Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, 505-277-4405 The museum presents Earth, Fire, and Life: Six Thousand Years of Chinese Ceramics. The show contains ceramics from the Neolithic period to the present and includes ritual vessels, tomb offerings, and contemporary sculpture. Also on view is Chinese Americans in New Mexico, an exhibit documenting Chinese immigration in the 19th century and the establishment of Chinese communities in the Land of Enchantment. The reception for both exhibits is Friday, April 8, at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
