Ar­gos Stu­dio/Gallery and Santa Fe Etch­ing Club, 1211 Luisa St., 505-988-1814 In Bar­bizon to Santa Fe, Ar­gos ex­plores the in­flu­ence of the French Bar­bizon school on Im­pres­sion­ism and nat­u­ral­ism. The ex­hibit in­cludes works by Amer­i­can print­mak­ers, whose sub­ject mat­ter dur­ing the late-19th­cen­tury etch­ing re­vival re­flected the work­ing- class sub­jects and com­mon­place themes of the Bar­bizon artists. The show in­cludes etch­ings by Peter Mo­ran, whose views of Santa Fe and re­gional pue­b­los are among the ear­li­est made by an An­glo-Amer­i­can artist. Col­lec­tor and ex­hibit donor Robert Bell de­liv­ers a free talk at 2 p.m. on Sun­day, May 8. Space is lim­ited and reser­va­tions are sug­gested. The ex­hibit co­in­cides with the 41st an­nual meet­ing of the Amer­i­can His­tor­i­cal Print Col­lec­tors So­ci­ety (May 11-16) at La Fonda.
