Center for Contemporary Arts, 1050 Old Pecos Trail, 505-982-1338 Santa Fe-based artist Victor Teng was inspired by Chinese calligraphy in his abstract drawings of figures. His new exhibition In Conversation: Works on Paper opens in the Cinematheque Lobby Gallery on Saturday, June 18, with a 5 p.m. reception. Originally from the Philippines, Teng has been exhibiting in the United States for four decades. His lively and gestural drawings are based on his observations of human interactions.
