Indulge Café (occupying Aztec Café’s old spot) is the sort of place where the feel of childhood tea parties carries on in the grown-up world. Lines from Lewis Carroll and others are stenciled on the walls, the mismatched tables and chairs are painted in pastels, there’s a sparkling crystal chandelier, and the overall palette echoes the generously frosted chocolate cupcakes in the bakery case. The café’s short but sweet menu follows whimsical suit, but nothing you’ll eat here is silly. It’s robustly flavored and rapidly prepared, with a nod to nutrition. Keep your eyes open: A little girl might skip past you wearing fairy wings. Recommended: Best Burrito Ever, Perfect Portobello Panini, and Sparkle Goat Salad.
