KBAC-98.1 FM hosts its 20th-anniversary party on Thursday, June 30, at an unlikely location — downtown on the roof of the Sandoval Parking Garage (216 W. San Francisco St.). Billed as Santa Fe’s first-ever sunset rooftop concert, the party features music by Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, a rock-funk band that in 2015 toured with the Rolling Stones. The group is known for its rollicking live performances and instrumental numbers. Frontman Denson broke into the music industry a quarter-century ago as a saxophonist in Lenny Kravitz’s touring band during his Let Love Rule tour. TU’s most recent album is 2014’s highly danceable New Ammo (Stoopid Records). Cowgirl will sell food at the twenty-one-and-over concert, with beer from Santa Fe Brewing Company. Tickets are $25 in advance from www.holdmyt and $30 at the door; the show starts at 7:30 p.m. — Jennifer Levin
