2016, acrylic on panel

Pasatiempo - - PASA WEEK -

Roland van Loon Gallery, 612 Agua Fría St., 505-670-6234 Thomas Christopher Haag draws on ancient cultures and spiritual traditions, lending them a wry twist in collaged paintings and assemblages. He joins Jodie Herrera and gallery owner Roland van Loon for the exhibit Thrice, opening with a 5 p.m. reception on Saturday, June 25. Herrera’s work is an ongoing exploration of the female figure and experience, conveyed through symbolic interpretations of personal stories. Van Loon’s energetic narrative works are painted from memory, and convey a celebratory sense of people and culture.
