IAIA Mu­seum of Con­tem­po­rary Na­tive Arts Mu­seum Shop, 108 Cathe­dral Place, 505-983-1666 The MoCNA Mu­seum Shop part­ners with the West Baf­fin Eskimo Co­op­er­a­tive’s mar­ket­ing divi­sion, Dorset Fine Arts, for Telling a Story: Inuit Works on Pa­per. Cape Dorset, lo­cated in the Cana­dian Arc­tic, is home to Kin­ngait Stu­dios, the old­est print shop in Canada, known for pro­duc­ing dis­tinc­tive stone­cut and litho­graphic prints. The ex­hibit and sale in­cludes works by Saimaiyu Ake­suk, Pit­se­o­lak Ashoona, Shuvinai Ashoona, King­meata Etid­looie, and more. The show in­cludes a pop-up store (Aug. 19-21) with items from the Trick­ster Com­pany and in­cludes jew­elry, fash­ion, and cus­tomized skate­boards. The show opens Fri­day, Aug. 19. A panel, “Telling a Story: The Art of Cape Dorset,” takes place at 1 p.m. on Sun­day, Aug. 21, in the mu­seum’s Al­lan Houser Art Park.
