San Francisco St., 505-986-1234 Hopi-Tewa potter Nampeyo of Hano (circa 1859-1942) was known for her old-style Hopi ceramics and as a leader in the revival of traditional Hopi pottery styles. Andrea Fisher presents an exhibition of Nampeyo’s work that opens Friday, Aug. 19. The show is concurrent with a show of ceramic works by Diego Valles of Mata Ortiz in Chihuahua, Mexico, who helped revitalize Mexican pottery forms. Valles gives demonstrations at the gallery on Aug. 19 and Saturday, Aug. 20, starting at 10 a.m. The exhibits remain on view through Aug. 23.
