Andrea Fisher Fine Pot­tery, 100 W. San Fran­cisco St., 505-986-1234 Hopi-Tewa pot­ter Nam­peyo of Hano (circa 1859-1942) was known for her old-style Hopi ceram­ics and as a leader in the re­vival of tra­di­tional Hopi pot­tery styles. Andrea Fisher presents an ex­hi­bi­tion of Nam­peyo’s work that opens Fri­day, Aug. 19. The show is con­cur­rent with a show of ce­ramic works by Diego Valles of Mata Or­tiz in Chi­huahua, Mex­ico, who helped re­vi­tal­ize Mex­i­can pot­tery forms. Valles gives demon­stra­tions at the gallery on Aug. 19 and Satur­day, Aug. 20, start­ing at 10 a.m. The ex­hibits re­main on view through Aug. 23.
