Hear, hear: A Day of Music for the Arts
Bring the family and dance to a handful of beloved Santa Fe bands on Saturday, Sept. 10, to raise funds for arts programming at Turquoise Trail Charter Elementary School. Joe West, The Busy Band, The Hill Stompers, The Pleasure Pilots, Round Mountain, and Sol Fire rock The Bridge at Santa Fe Brewing Company (35 Fire Place) from 2 to 10 p.m. in support of the National Dance Institute, along with the band, the choir, the singing/song-writing club and the drama club at Turquoise Trail. Located on Highway 14 south of Santa Fe, the school serves a largely rural and Hispanic student population. Admission is $10 per person; kids sixteen and under get in for $5; and there is a family donation price of $20. For more information, call 505-986-4000.
