Wheel­wright Mu­seum of the Amer­i­can In­dian, 704 Camino Lejo, 505-982-4636 The ex­hi­bi­tion Ji­car­illa: Home Near the Heart of the World con­tin­ues through April 16, 2017. This show of Ji­car­illa bas­ketry, pot­tery, and bead­work is a joint ven­ture between the Wheel­wright Mu­seum, the Ji­car­illa Apache Na­tion, and the Cen­ter of South­west Stud­ies at Fort Lewis Col­lege, Du­rango. Items dat­ing from the mid-19th cen­tury to the present are in­cluded, and the show draws from the Hortense Good­man, Joan An­der­man, and By­ron Har­vey III col­lec­tions, as well as other sources. Works by more than a dozen con­tem­po­rary artists are on dis­play in ad­di­tion to the his­toric pieces.
