HANG ON, WE’RE IN FOR A BUMPY RIDE. We have two apparently conflicting energy streams tugging us in different directions — a dreamy sun-Neptune conjunction blurring the edge of reality just as a Mars-Uranus conjunction turns up the engine of our discontent.

With the sun conjuncting intuitive Neptune in sensitive Pisces, we can be hungry for spiritual practice and a good day, but otherwise easily lost in our imagination and alternative facts. Our hopes, fears, dreams, and discouragements can warp our perception of what’s really going on.

The world sizzles and pops this week as activating Mars conjuncts electrical Uranus in feisty Aries and both oppose expansive Jupiter. Our engines revved, we can rush off down the road without a clear picture of what’s going on, as the mood becomes both proactive and highly competitive.

Expect flashes of genius or accidental conditions. Watch out around electrical equipment, look twice before merging at an intersection, and confirm data before ranting. Think twice before leaving a steady job to pursue a dream as a trapeze artist. But listen to those needs, and see if there is a way to honor the desire for something more passionate in a healthy way.

On Friday, schedule meetings and sketch out plans for the next few weeks while Mercury and the moon are both in collaborative Aquarius. Emotional material can pour through us this weekend, and water can flow out of bounds as the moon and Mercury enter more personal, sensitive Pisces.

On Tuesday, a feisty Aries moon amps up the action. The changeproducing Jupiter-Uranus opposition peaks on Thursday and can catalyze sudden events and technological innovations.

FRIDAY, FEB. 24: Notice an urgent need to do something, anything, though our minds may wander. Social interactions bring important medicine and fertile new contacts; decisions made now will guide us in the weeks ahead. Blow off steam in positive ways.

SATURDAY, FEB. 25: Offer sympathy rather than advice. We may feel emotionally needy, even if we can’t pinpoint why. Later on, stay alert for inebriated drivers or other compromised people in decision-making positions. Enjoy a dreamy quality, but track logistics and traffic.

SUNDAY, FEB. 26: Swim in an empathic pool as a new moon/solar eclipse in Pisces marks an emotional turning point. Listen for some deep internal decision to end a phase and feel propelled to implement a more effective stance. Move wisely toward a healthier, more compassionate future.

MONDAY, FEB. 27: Last night’s motivating Mars-Uranus conjunction opposes Jupiter this morning and turns up the heat. Witness strong conflicting feelings and speak up with an honest, open heart. The mood is competitive, compassionate, brave, sensitive, and irritable as the moon enters Aries.

TUESDAY, FEB. 28: We can combust in the best of ways — for love, liberty, or creative process. Trying to stick to routine chores may feel like trying to give a cat a bath. Search for a fresh approach or engaging event.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1: The world feels illusory as the sun conjuncts Neptune. Let’s immerse ourselves in a long, hot bath, our dream world, or spiritual practice. Alternative facts will be thick on the ground but our intuitive perceptions can pick up truth, though it may be hard for us to interpret clearly. It’s beneficial to merge with spirit, hug beloveds, or choose a puppy. THURSDAY, MARCH 2: The moon enters earthy Taurus, beginning to settle us down and helping us to get back to concrete work. A freedom-loving ingenuity inspires inventions, but it may take us months to see results.
