Give ‘em shel­ter: Dog Days of Sum­mer

The sec­ond an­nual Dog Days of Sum­mer, a fundraiser for the Santa Fe An­i­mal Shel­ter, is fun for the whole fam­ily — in­clud­ing the bark­ing, wag­ging, four-legged mem­bers. The event, held at The Bridge at Santa Fe Brew­ing Com­pany (37 Fire Place), be­gins at 3 p.m. on Sun­day, June 4. The Na­tive reg­gae band In­nas­tate plays at 3:30 p.m.; fol­lowed by Grey­hounds, a duo from Austin, at 4:30 p.m.; Al­bu­querque’s Red Light Cam­eras play their ver­sion of garage-pop-rock at 6 p.m.; and head­lin­ers MarchFourth, a rol­lick­ing 20-mem­ber group of mu­si­cians and dancers, take the stage at 7 p.m. Dog Days of Sum­mer also fea­tures an on-site “ac­ti­va­tion” by the Meow Wolf art col­lec­tive, games for dogs and hu­mans, food trucks, as­sorted ven­dors, and face paint­ing, among other at­trac­tions.
