San Fran­cisco jazz singer Lori Car­sillo plays Santa Fe for the fifth time on Fri­day, June 16. For this ap­pear­ance, she will be abet­ted by reed­man Arlen Asher, pi­anist Kirk Kadish, bassist Jon Ga­gan, and drum­mer John Trenta­costa. Car­sillo told Pasatiempo she will do a cur­rent fa­vorite of hers, Henry Mancini’s “Slow Hot Wind,” but her reper­toire ranges from Bob Dor­ough’s “Comin’ Home Baby” to Dorothy Lamour’s “Moon of Manakoora” (a fea­ture of Car­sillo’s 2007 disc Space

Age Love Songs, on which her al­ter ego Lola Bom­bay shares the front­line with a theremin).
