Vi­olin­ist Rachel Bar­ton Pine makes her de­but with Santa Fe Cham­ber Mu­sic Fes­ti­val; con­tem­po­rary dance troupe Com­pag­nie Hervé Koubi per­forms at the Len­sic; Nacha Men­dez presents Love Let­ter to Frida; ac­cor­dion­ist Antonia Apo­daca plays the Band­stand

Over the past decade, the Amer­i­can vi­olin­ist Rachel Bar­ton Pine has per­formed re­peat­edly in New Mex­ico as a con­certo soloist or recital­ist, but this week she makes her de­but at the Santa Fe Cham­ber Mu­sic Fes­ti­val. On Satur­day, July 22, at 5 p.m., she plays un­ac­com­pa­nied works by Bach (his Vi­o­lin Sonatas in G mi­nor and C ma­jor and his Par­tita in E ma­jor), and then at 6 p.m. on Sun­day, July 23, and Mon­day, July 24, she will join with four col­leagues — vi­olin­ist Jennifer Frautschi, vi­o­list Paul Neubauer, and cel­lists Mark Kosower and Clive Green­smith — for Glazunov’s String Quin­tet in A ma­jor, on pro­grams that also in­clude works by Schu­mann and Beethoven. All of these take place in St. Fran­cis Au­di­to­rium (New Mex­ico Mu­seum of Art, 107 W. Palace Ave.).
