Priests, a band from the conservative city streets of Washington, D.C., offer up nonironic, political punk — a rarity in today’s music scene, when so much authentic emotion seems to be muted by a marked aversion to having feelings. Priests are moody, loud, experienced musicians who retain a requisite gritty, unfinished edge. Now on tour with their first fulllength album, Nothing Feels Natural (Sister Polygon Records), Priests play at Meow Wolf (1352 Rufina Circle, 505-395-6369) at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11. Tickets are $12 in advance atow and $15 at the door.
