The show looks at bees and other pollinators, such as butterflies, moths, and birds, and their role in the world’s food supply. The exhibit is curated by artist and beekeeper Valerie Roybal and is meant to help raise awareness of these threatened species and their importance to the ecosystem as well as exploring the cross-pollination of ideas in art and science. Artists include collaborators Bruce Hamilton and Susanna Carlisle, Kelly Eckel, Daisy Patton, and a host of other regional, national, and international artists. Visit www.516.org for related events.
