Mu­seum of In­ter­na­tional Folk Art, 706 Camino Lejo, 505- 476-1200 Quilts made from ap­pliquéd scraps and patched fab­rics are a tra­di­tion in China, and re­newed schol­arly and artis­tic in­ter­est have led to a re­vival. The show Quilts of Southwe est China presents a num­ber of works that re­flect the re­search of a con­sor­tium of U. S. and Chi­nese museums, of­fer­ing a glimpse into Chi­nese his­tory, artistry, and iden­tity. The show is on view through Jan. 221, 2018.
