New Mex­ico Mu­seum of Art, 107 W. Palace Ave., 505-476-5072 The ex­hi­bi­tion Shift­ing Light: Pho­to­graphic Per­spec­tives con­tin­ues through Oct. 7, 2018. The show is part of the mu­seum’s cen­ten­nial cel­e­bra­tion and of­fers a look at the long-term re­la­tion­ship the in­sti­tu­tion has had with pho­tog­ra­phy. Shift­ing Light in­cludes his­toric works by Laura Gilpin, Eliot Porter, Ansel Adams, and Al­fred Stieglitz, as well as more con­tem­po­rary im­ages that chal­lenge ideas of pho­tog­ra­phy and sug­gest fu­ture di­rec­tions for the evolv­ing medium.
