The Danish String Quartet; cellist Joshua Roman; Santa Fe Desert Chorale; and a recital by violinist Vadim Gluzman and pianist Angela Yoffe

Santa Fe Pro Musica presents the Danish String Quartet, which has been attracting much attention in the chamber-music world, at the St. Francis Auditorium (New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 W. Palace Ave.) at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Feb. 11. Three “Hunt” quartets figure on the program: Haydn’s in B-flat major (Op. 1, No. 1) and Mozart’s in B-flat major (K. 458), both nicknamed “The Hunt,” and contemporary composer Jörg Widmann’s Jagdquartett (which translates to “Hunt Quartet”). Brahms’ Quartet No. 3 completes the program. For tickets ($12-$80), visit www.ticketssantafe.org or call 505-988-1234. The concert overlaps with that of the Santa Fe Symphony, but one solution would be to check out the Danes’ free open rehearsal in the same venue at 10 that morning. — James M. Keller
