Features from Fogland
A cool, late summer morning in Ganges Harbour, British Columbia, had us waiting out the fog. The four of us, savoring a boys trip, sat on the flybridge of a Meridian 580 enjoying cinnamon rolls from a local bakery and fresh hot coffee from the galley. The shades of silver from the mirror-like water blending into the ghostly atmosphere lent a striking background to the feathered poseur on the dock. That rare moment when busy professionals cast off their cares, when easy camaraderie is combined with the wonder of natural art, where sea and sky are the same, is with us yet.
