OVERTAKEN

I am writing about the diagram shown on page 58 of the March issue under Rule 13. Rule 13(b) states, in part, that “A vessel shall be deemed to be overtaking when coming up with another vessel from a direction more than 22.5 degrees abaft her beam.” This diagram shows the overtaking vessels to be right on the beam (0.0 degrees abaft the beam, if you will). Those vessels marked as OVERTAKING should have been placed farther “south” in the diagram to be below the 22.5-degree line. Am I correct or did I miss something?
