I just got my April issue of PassageMaker and I have a question. On page 48, under specs for the Nordic Tug 44, you list the price as tested as $966.85. My question is; where can I get a couple of these fine vessels at that price? Sure would be a great buy.
Have a great day. Capt. P. Dix Annapolis, MD Dear Captain Dix I think we can safely guess that a whole number—falling somewhere between 0 and 9 was accidentally left off of our final edit. Our apologies for the oversight. This is why we never made it as accountants. Thanks!—JC
Just after we printed our story on two new models—a 59 and a 62— from Explorer Motoryachts, we learned that not only is Trevor Brice from North Pacific Yachts going to be the North American importer for the 62, but the U.S. and Canadian boats will be badged North Pacific Yachts as well. Hull 11 of the 62 is shipping to a new owner in England this summer.
The North Pacific 62 Explorer, along with North Pacific’s own 59, will join the new 44 Sedan, which will debut at Trawler Fest in Bremerton, Washington, in mid-May.

And finally, the Know Your Geography segment. Someone gleefully pointed out that in my last letter (Pilothouse, April 2017), I erroneously refer to the Kitsap Peninsula, when, in fact, it is the Olympic Peninsula. I was mixing up Kitsap County, so... half-credit, dad?—JC
