in the right mood

I’ve had the urge to go through my Steam library looking for stragglers as well as games I want to take a second look at. You can see how Undertale is going in our Now Playing section, but I’ve also finally settled into Hollow Knight.

I was saving Hollow Knight for when I was in the right mood, and while I waited it racked up three chunky free pieces of DLC, so there’s a whole heap of game for me to explore. The devs at Team Cherry also added custom map markers since I dipped into the beta several years ago which is super useful in Metroidvanias!

I’ve also returned to Apotheon to revel in its ancient Greek pottery-inspired art style, and I have cemetery sim, Graveyard Keeper installed and ready for when I fancy making a series of macabre and questionable decisions that aren’t related to the magazine deadline.
