Tory Burch em­braces fe­male em­pow­er­ment with her lat­est cam­paign.

As an in­ter­na­tional fash­ion and life­style phe­nom and CEO of her epony­mous bil­lion-dol­lar com­pany, home­town dar­ling Tory Burch is no stranger to suc­cess. But she knows part of be­ing suc­cess­ful is help­ing oth­ers along the way. Armed with a new cam­paign and ac­ces­sories col­lec­tion through her foun­da­tion, Burch wants to in­spire women to chase their dreams, just as she did when she launched her col­or­ful la­bel from a New York City store­front in 2004.

That was the think­ing be­hind the Tory Burch Foun­da­tion that she founded five years later. Its goal? To em­power fe­male en­trepreneurs to keep fear of fail­ure at bay and es­chew the cul­tural mores and stig­mas that are of­ten put upon am­bi­tious women, and give them the tools and confi- dence to go for their goals.

“Women in busi­ness face many chal­lenges,” says Burch. “One of the big­gest may be that we have in­ter­nal­ized the harm­ful dou­ble stan­dard that ex­ists around am­bi­tion, which is of­ten per­ceived as neg­a­tive in a wo­man, yet is seen as a pos­i­tive in a man.”

And what bet­ter way to stay in­spired than with some new wrist­wear? As part of the cam­paign, Burch is sell­ing Em­brace Am­bi­tion bracelets avail­able in six dif­fer­ent col­ors at her King of Prus­sia bou­tique. Tory Burch launched her foun­da­tion in 2009 to in­spire the next gen­er­a­tion of fe­male en­trepreneurs. In the years since, the de­signer’s pas­sion project has spawned men­tor­ing pro­grams, a cof­feetable book, and part­ner­ships with the White House.
