Where: The lower level of the Smithsonia­n’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, 400 Constituti­on Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on days the museum is open, serving lunch between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Seating is on a walk-in basis; expect a wait. Entrees range in price from $8 to $15.

Tickets: You must have a timed pass to enter the museum. Same-day timed passes are available online only, beginning at 6:30 a.m. daily (go to https:// nmaahc.si.edu/visit/ passes). A limited number of walk-up passes are available MondayFrid­ay on the Madison Drive side of the building, beginning at 1 p.m. In addition, a limited number of advance timed-entry individual passes are released monthly; the next release for July 2017 passes is on April 5 at 9 a.m.
