Miami-Florida over ARKANSAS ST by 10
Check out these stats: the Canes are 6-0 ATS after unlined home games, 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as non-conference road favorites and 6-2 in the 1st of back-to-back road tilts. Yes, lots of good numbers, but ASU brings a full complement as well. The strength of Mark Richt’s team is expected to be its defense, but there is concern after allowing marshmallow BethuneCookman 350 yards of offense last week. For Arky State, QB Justice Hansen was 46-of-68 for 415 yards (to nine different receivers) in the Red Wolves’ near-upset at Nebraska last week After pulling within a TD late in the 4th quarter, Blake Anderson’s squad recovered the onside kick and moved to the Nebraska 11 with 9 seconds to play before two incomplete passes ended it. Hansen won 8 of his 10 starts last season en route to ASU’s fifth Sun Belt Conference title in six years, and Arkansas State is 7-0 ATS in the first of consecutive home contests and 4-0 ATS as double digit home dogs. And while Miami won last year’s matchup 41-20 in South Florida, this year’s edition of the Red Wolves will not go down easy in Jonesboro.
