Toledo over BOWLING GREEN by 21
Despite last week’s setback in Athens, the Rockets (8-2, 5-1) still control their own destiny in the MAC West and we can’t see a Bowling Green team that is allowing almost 38 PPG this season to teams not named Kent State standing in the way of Toledo’s first conference title appearance since 2004. We’re also not overly concerned with laying the lumber on the road as the value appears to be with the visitors, considering the series host is 0-3-1 ATS of late and the Bee Gees were 33-point road underdogs in this matchup just last season. Factor in the Rockets’ 8-2 ATS weekday road log, as well as BGSU’s recent 0-3 ATS mark in LHG’s, and you can see why Toledo still figures to hold all the West cards heading into next week’s season-ender in Kalamazoo. And though we should point out that the Falcons, who were 1-8 SU at the time, reeled off three straight victories to close out the 2016 campaign, it still won’t stop us from glaring in the Rockets’ direction with so much at stake. An easy lay.
