WYOMING over Fresno St by 3
The Cowboys’ anemic offense is becoming a major concern, as they’ve gained more than 333 yards in only ONE game this season. The Pokes were outstatted by 149 yards in last week’s 28-14 win over Air Force, but through it all they are in their last seven games. The QBs on each team were both injured last week and are questionable this week: Wyoming coaches were tight-lipped as to Josh Allen’s status, but Allen’s mom spilled the beans on Facebook, saying he sprained his throwing shoulder late in the first half and was set for X-rays on Monday. Fresno State QB Marcus McMaryion has an injured right hand, but the Bulldogs rely more heavily on their excellent defense, which leads the Mountain West in Scoring ‘D’ and is second behind San Diego State in yardage allowed. Both teams are 7-3, 5-1 with FSU atop the MWC Mountain division and Wyoming in the 2nd spot in the West. However, be sure and check the QB status on both sides before making a call.
